    Meet Our Management

    • Rob Hirt Chief Executive Officer

      Rob Hirt is the CEO and owner of the steadily growing RPM Mortgage, Inc., one of the nation’s leading private retail mortgage lenders.

      Rob began his career in the mortgage industry over 30 years ago. In 1991 he invested in the company which eventually became RPM; since 1996 Rob and his wife, Tracey, have been the sole owners of RPM. Rob has led RPM to become one of the top five private, retail mortgage lenders in the U.S. according to Scotsman Guide 2013 rankings¹ and Standard & Poor's².

      Prior to his time at RPM, Rob co-founded Data Fax Credit Reporting, which was later sold to Transunion. He also served as the Vice Chairman and second largest shareholder of Darien Rowayton Bank (DRB), a $400 million depository bank based in Darien, CT. Rob has also held positions with Bear Stearns and Farmer Savings Bank as a whole loan trading specialist.

      In 2014 Rob led the first acquisition for RPM, the purchase of New Hampshire-based Regency Mortgage Corporation. This purchase will expand the lender's footprint throughout the East Coast. This will be the first of three acquisitions for the lender in 2014. In 2013 RPM funded $5.9 billion of retail mortgage loans. Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, RPM currently has over 70 branches and more than 800 hundred employees.

      In their spare time Rob and his family own and operate their labor of love, The Ironhorse Equestrian Center, a 15 acre riding facility in the foothills of Pleasanton, Ca. There, he and his wife Tracey spend time with their three daughters. The Hirt family makes their home in Alamo, California.

    • Tracey Hirt Director of Operations

      In the early 1990s, Tracey Hirt joined Residential Pacific Mortgage and became one of the company’s top-producing loan advisors. She generated and closed over $1 billion in production as a loan advisor. Tracey now serves as President of RPM Mortgage, Inc. and heads its private mortgage banking operation. Under her leadership, the company has grown into a $6.4 billion company with more than 60 branches and over 300 loan advisors. She’s proud of the fact that RPM has been able to adapt and adjust in the fluctuating industry and earned the honor of being named in the top ten of Mortgage Executive Magazine’s “Top 100 Mortgage Companies in America 2012”.

      Tracey enjoys riding horses, spending time with her three daughters, and travelling in her free time.
    • Ava Noack Chief Financial and Strategy Officer

      Ava Noack brings close to 25 years of experience in the financial industry to her dual roles as Chief Financial & Strategy Officer at RPM.  Ava has been in her current role since 2003, and facilitates the company’s vision of Trust, Knowledge, and Community.

      As Chief Financial Officer, Ava oversees RPM’s financial and operational strategy; more specifically, financial planning and modeling, accounting and financial reporting, capital and secondary markets, and mortgage loan servicing.

      As Chief Strategy Officer, Ava is responsible for communicating, executing, and ensuring RPM’s strategic initiatives, both internally and externally.

      Previously, Ava worked as the Treasurer of a publicly-traded financial services company.  Her professional background includes finance, accounting, treasury, cash management, financial planning and analysis, and SEC reporting.

      Ava holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Actuarial Science and a M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Hartford.

      Spending time with her three children and friends, running, rowing, visiting her favorite gym, and being outdoors, are some of Ava’s favorite activities outside of work.
    • Donny Isaak Regional President – Northern California

      Donny Isaak has more than 12 years of experience in the Mortgage Lending industry both in Sales and Operations and many years of Sales Management.  His diverse experience and knowledge of many aspects of the lending industry have helped him to grow and nurture many successful teams. Donny has been with RPM Mortgage since inception and began his career as a loan originator working alongside one of the top producing loan originators in the country, thus establishing his deep knowledge of the retail mortgage industry. Donny has served in multiple management positions at RPM Mortgage.  After originating loans, he became the Director of Business Development and Branch Manager of RPM’s largest retail branch office in Alamo, California. He was the Chief Compliance Officer at RPM for several years and in this role was responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring, testing, and revising RPM’s Compliance Management System. Additionally, he has overseen the Quality Control, Human Resources, Legal, and Branch Operations/Licensing departments at RPM. Currently, he is President of the Northern California Region and oversees twenty retail branches that funded over $2.3 billion dollars in 2014. 

      In these various capacities, Donny has gained first-hand experience in mortgage production and a wide range of support operations.

      Prior to joining RPM, Donny worked in Project Management for some of the nation’s largest wireless telecommunication companies overseeing the build-out of their wireless networks in California, Nevada, and Hawaii.

      Donny is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he was a member of the 1991 National Championship tennis team and an Academic All-American in that same year. He lives in Alamo, CA and enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with his wife and children.

    • Julian Hebron EVP, Sales & Marketing

      Julian Hebron is a member of RPM Mortgage’s executive management team as EVP of Sales & Marketing. He’s responsible for ensuring RPM loan agents have best in class products, technology, and transactional speed to earn the loyalty of consumers in our communities. He also oversees RPM’s national brand and business development. Julian first came to RPM in 2003 from the money management business where he had served as Director of North American marketing for UBS Global Asset Management. He was one of RPM’s perennial top producing loan agents and area managers who built RPM’s Marin and then San Francisco retail presences. During that time, he built and ran San Francisco’s largest mortgage/real estate joint venture from 2008 to 2013, then left RPM in 2013 to take over Wells Fargo's new homes lending division in San Francisco. He returned to RPM to assume his current role in December 2015. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and son.
    • Patrick Palmer Regional President – Pacific Northwest

      Patrick Palmer joined RPM Mortgage, Inc. in early 2012 as President of the Pacific Northwest Division. Patrick has more than 18 years of experience in the mortgage industry, developing retail origination sales, marketing and operational platforms. He helped guide RPM into Oregon and Washington, which now proudly boasts four professionally well-established branches. His responsibilities at RPM include overseeing daily operations of the mortgage banking division, credit risk, post-closing, and insuring. Prior to joining RPM, Patrick was the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alpine Mortgage Planning in Lake Oswego, OR.

      Patrick attended Western Oregon University and George Fox University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in business and Economics, and his MBA with a focus in Finance. Currently, Patrick Chairs the Western Oregon University Foundation board of directors, and serves many local charities. He resides in West Linn, Oregon with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys golfing, cycling, and wine tasting.
    • Brett Dillenberg Regional President – Southern California

      Brett Dillenberg joined RPM Mortgage in November of 2007. He has been a valued member of the Business Development team and dedicated to the growth of RPM in Southern California. What began as just one office has grown into a prospering presence in the area. Brett believes the key to success is in building long term relationships with everyone that comes into his life. He has carried this over into his “Can Do, Will Do” attitude, representing RPM as a trusted and knowledgeable source in the community for residential mortgage lending.

      Brett began his career in 1989 as a loan originator and later co-founded Platinum Capital Group in 1993 as a mortgage brokerage operation. The primary focus was on residential lending in the South Bay. In 1995, they joined forces with approximately 20 Real Estate offices throughout the South Bay and became a dominant local player in the Joint Venture market. His business earned the #10 spot on the 1998 INC 500 list of fastest growing companies nationally and #1 on the 1998 LA Business Journal list for fastest growing companies in Los Angeles. This fast growth also earned them Entrepreneur of the Year honors from Ernst and Young.

      Brett graduated from the University of Southern California in 1988. He has been married for over 20 years, has three wonderful children, and resides in Palos Verdes. He is active in his community and volunteers for charitable services. Brett holds a board seat for Eimago, which is part of the Union Rescue Mission. He is also a member of the Foundation Board for Torrance Memorial Medical Center and coaches his children’s sports through a company called Building Champions.
    • Lorraine Sumulong EVP, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer

      Lorraine leads the legal team and is responsible for compliance, quality control, vendor management, and licensing.

      After earning her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and her law degree from UC Berkeley's Boalt School of Law, Lorraine built an impressive career as an attorney and compliance professional. Prior to joining the team at RPM, Lorraine served as VP and National Finance Group Fair and Responsible Lending Officer at Bank of the West. Throughout her career Lorraine gained extensive experience in legal and compliance with positions held at PNC, Washington Mutual, the FDIC and Irwin Home Equity.

    • Michael Perel National Operations Manager

      Michael Perel joined RPM in 2015, bringing over 15 years of mortgage and banking experience to the company. After serving in the U.S Marine Corps and receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Kent State, Michael started his career as a loan officer at J.P. Morgan Chase bank, where he held various management positions. Michael spent 10 years as an Operations Relationship Manager before joining RPM. He has successfully helped many mortgage professionals grow their business through quality control and pipeline management. His knowledge in mortgage banking and experience helping customers adapt to changing industry guidelines makes him a true asset to the RPM team. As RPM’s National Operations Manager, Michael is responsible for quality control from underwriting through post-closing. Michael lives in Lakewood, Ohio and enjoys running marathons, traveling, and being with his wife and 3 young children.
